Chef Henri’s Pot Roast Recipe


This is a great recipe that is really easy to make, and very tasty.


Ingredients:

1 (4 to 5 lbs.) Bottom Round (or Top Round)

1 (8 oz.) can Tomato Sauce

Worcestershire Sauce (few shakes)

A.I. Steak Sauce (short dump)

Glob of mustard

Few shakes of Tabasco sauce

Kitchen Bouquet for coloring

2 cups Water


Gravy

2 Tbsp. Cornstarch

3 cups Water


Directions:

Spray pan with Pam or Mazola spray.  Brown roast on all sides.


While browning roast, mix together; pour over roast, cover, and cook 5 hours for super doneness at 150 degrees F.  Mix cornstarch and water; pour into mixture after removing roast.  Cook till as thick as you want for gravy.  Slice meat against the grain.  Serve with mashed potatoes and string beans.
